| Firesafe shutoff valves
are specifically designed for flammable liquid service. Whether automatically
or manually operating, normally open or normally closed, these control
valves have withstood, for at least 15 minutes, a typical direct-fire exposure.
The exposure test products time-temperature characteristics typical of
uncontrolled fire. Valves are tested in the closed position and must
prevent steady stream or spurt leakage at the manufacturer's temperature
and pressure ratings during the fire exposure. |
